Originally I was going to make this page about “stuff” I want, as in actual material things, but I realized I don’t really want too many of those. So, it’s going to be “things” I want, which is more flexible. It could be something like an achievement, or a trip. It can also be “stuff.” This list will be an ongoing and evolving project. I cross things off as I get/achieve them. Here’s the list:

• I want to go to Shanghai and Hong Kong. Done, in October 2007!
• I want to go to Guadalajara.
• I want one of those Skype WiFi phones.
• I want to photograph Elisha Cuthbert.
• I want seperate pages of my blog (like this “Things I Want” one) listed in a menu across the top of my blog instead of in the sidebar.
• Either this or that.
• Chinese lessons on CD. I got it. So far so good!
• Garmin cf Que 1620 GPS for my PocketPC. It plugs into the CF slot on the top. Yummy I got the Holux GR-271 from eBay. It’s not bad when it works. The sensitivity sucks though. Maybe mine’s broken?
• The Wheeler Sunpredictor would be very handy for outdoor shooting. It uses GPS to tell you when and where the sun will be setting and rising for any particular location around the world
• The new EA game Spore.
• A 21″ Wacom Cintiq combination monitor/tablet
• A Jobo Giga Vu Pro Evolution portable photo viewer/storage thing
• A Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 EX DG MACRO lens
• A Sony GPS-CS1 that tracks your location with GPS and later synchronizes that data with your photos so you can see where you were on Google Maps when you took the photo. Hmmmm… only works with Sony cameras. Useless.
• A very lightweight tripod
• A 2GB compact flash card I bought a Transcend 120X 2GB card
  
• A Canon SD40 compact camera for snapshots. Got the SD630 from Dad for Christmas
• Sigma DP1 camera with Foveon sensor.
• A Morphy Richards Memphis espresso machine.
• Newton Peripherals Bluetooth MoGo Mouse
• Guy Delisle’s Shenzen: A Travelogue from China - Jadine got this for me for my birthday!
• iRiver clix generation 2 media player.
• A font clock.
